My sister and I come to the rec center to play volleyball/swim. We always have a good time and the staff are usually friendly.
Giving 4 stars because last Friday my sister and I went for open volleyball. By the time we showed up there were no more spots left, we were understanding of this as we did arrive a little later than we'd planned.
The lady at reception shared that sometimes not everyone shows up, so if we waited there was the possibility of getting in.
So we waited. Everyone did show up so we didn't get in, which we were okay with. I asked her if there was a time she recommended we show up in the future and she shared that showing up 45 minutes ahead of time guarantees a spot. We thanked her for her help and started walking away but noticed her rolling her eyes at us.
Staff are typically very friendly but this was a frustrating experience as I feel we were polite.
That being said, aside from this interaction I have mostly positive things to say about the rec centre.
