I'm not a horse racing fan, but a model aeroplane fan. I belong to Epsom Downs Model Aircraft Club, EDMAC, which flys radio controlled model aeroplanes and helicopters inside the race course near the top of 'the hill'.✈️🚁 DRONES STRICTLY NOT PERMITTED.

Drive inside the race course at the Tattenham Corner entrance, follow the inner road up to the car park at the top of the gentle hill. Park up and walk to our runway about 200 metres away. You can't miss us. We have a large notice board out in the open.

Membership of the club, insurance and CAA registration is a requirement to fly at the site. We have around 200 members, of which 5 to 20 fly on any given day.

The public is welcome anytime to watch our display and to try radio controlled flying as a guest on a safe dual controlled setup.

We fly from 12pm any day of the year, weather permitting, including weekends and bank holidays, except for days when there is a horse racing event. Look up EDMAC on the Internet. We have a short promo video on YouTube and a Facebook page.

Why not get your kids involved in the hobby. The great outside is a lot better than looking at a phone or games consol all day. 🤣
