    Had both WSET 1 & 2 here.
WSET1 was conducted by Valerie, she was really good at breaking down complex wine terms for beginners and her infectious teaching style keeps the class in high spirits; she also gives us some useful info and facts outside of the curriculum syllabus for us to be more discerning while making wine purchases. even though one can directly take WSET2, I highly recommend WSET1 for beginners or people who aren’t well-acquainted with the wine world to build up strong foundations for a smooth WSET2 journey.

WSET2 was split into 2 days and we tasted a total of 40 wines. Day 1 for me was taken by Jamie, she’s really knowledgeable and conducts the lesson well in a lively manner, with which the amount of content covered no longer became overwhelming. Day 2 was taken by PK Chua. His teaching was energetic and mixed with relatable singaporean humor, and has helped me greatly in memorizing otherwise dry facts about appellations and winemaking factors. The blind tastings he conducted excited the class greatly and spurred intense discussions. P.S. we also tasted a 1996 Bordeaux worth $166 a bottle

Overall as a very young beginner in this field my experience with fine wines has been great and it has spurred me to continue on with WSET3 next year with fine wines.

I had a great learning experience with the WSET Level 2 course at Fine Wines. Day 1 was taught by Indrah which focused mostly on whites with excellent tasting tips. Day 2 was led by PK Chua and he made it easy to pick up a clear, structured way to assess and taste the wines I’ve been drinking. Besides theory on different grape varieties and how geographical factors and terroir influence wine quality, we had a wide range of wines to taste that sharpened my palate and how to assess the wines. The blind tastings were both fun and highly educational.

Thank you, PK and team for imparting so much valuable wine knowledge and making systematic tasting approachable—after just a couple of hours of revision post-class, I felt well prepared and passed the exam.

Took my WSET Level 2 in Wines in January with instructor Indra. The 2-day class was very enjoyable with practical tasting using a wide selection of quality wines. The theory part was fun as well as the instructor shared additional information beyond Level 2 syllabus and from his own experience so it didn't feel like rote learning for exam. Definitely would recommend.
