It's a very big family. We are all from very different backgrounds, but treat each other with respect and trust. (Most of the time, we are only human.) Our broad differences give us opportunities to learn, grow and maintain community at a deeper level then many other congregations. As an atheist, I feel respected and understood. And I'm not alone in my personal beliefs. I have been with this community for nearly thirty years and see us as a community that prefers teaching others to fish vs. providing fish.

We have found a wonderful and accepting community here. Our children have access to some of the best religious education available in a community that does not teach them shame, but rather acceptance and tolerance. As someone who sometimes feels like a tiny blue dot in an ocean of red, it's stunning and beautiful to find a community of liberal minded people who value service and community above all. If you value equality (gender, sexual orientation, racial & etc) and you are looking for a community in Oklahoma city, please visit… I think you will love it as much as I do!
