GoodLife Fitness at Refinery Place is a large and modern gym with everything you need for a great workout. It’s incredibly complete, offering multiple options for training — from cardio and weights to group classes and more. The price is quite reasonable for what you get.

The only downside is accessibility if you don’t have private transportation, it can be difficult to reach, as public bus connections to the area are limited. Still, once you’re there, it’s an excellent place to train and stay motivated.

I started attending this location this year and am loving it! I decided to upgrade my membership after using the performance passes in my ultimate membership and developing a love for the Hot Yoga classes. I haven't tried Regymen or Boxing yet but have tried a combination of the regular group fitness classes (some here, some at Grant) along with a few Hot Yoga classes at the Refinery location. I've noticed a few instructors that I like approach wise but one that stands out consistently for me is Marla. I HIGHLY recommend her Hot Yoga classes, especially her Restorative class! I love how supportive and encouraging she is, accomodating different needs/ability levels. Even talking to her after class you can see her enthusiasm and encouraging nature!

The one thing I would suggest as a way for GoodLife to improve is to consider the current costs. This location has a lot so the value is there, but the current prices would stop a lot of people from being able to sign up as the prices are definitely steep. I DEFINITELY recommend the Refinery location though with everything it offers!!!

Have been working out here since the summer and love it! Really big space with tons of equipment (although would love one more abductor machine) and very nice staff members. Have had the pleasure of getting to know Kyra, one of the personal trainers, and she is so wonderful and knowledgeable! If anyone is wanting to book a session, definitely book with her!
