This historic 1940s building houses a very interesting exhibit about the USO in Wilmington during WWII. We enjoyed reading the info, looking at the artifacts, and walking around in the building to get a feel for those days when the building hosted activities for a huge amount of soldiers and war workers. The exhibit is free (there is a tip jar). Some of the exhibits may not be available at all times as they are in classrooms. The building and exhibit is definitely worth a visit if you're interested in WWII history and local Wilmington history.

Seen a number of shows for Theater for All. The building is "decorated" so authentic with everything USO. And shows are entertaining…the casts are so enthusiastic! It's a feel good night!

I enjoyed my visit at the Community Art Center…I elected to take class the instructor was awesome .I will take another class( copper jewelry making). Location is a destination that elevates creativity. The management is warm and professional,Ms. Susan. If you need a location for an event consider the location. Consider this place to teach a class. They will take care of you… Add them to know about their active calendar 🗓️
