Harvard Art Museums — Cambridge, MA

The Harvard Art Museums offer a refined, gallery-style setting in the heart of Cambridge, Massachusetts for private receptions, dinners, and corporate events surrounded by world-class collections. Two distinct event spaces are available for evening rentals, each pairing architectural character with the prestige of one of the country’s foremost university art institutions.

Event spaces

• Calderwood Courtyard — the museum’s signature central courtyard, accommodating up to 200 guests for a seated dinner or up to 250 for a standing reception. Rental fee is $9,000, which includes standard custodial services and security.
• Adolphus Busch Hall and Garden — an intimate, historic hall and garden seating 60 to 70 guests for a dinner or reception (final capacity set in line with music and AV plans). Rental fee is $5,000.
• First-floor galleries — may be added to a Calderwood Courtyard rental for the first hour of the event, subject to availability, for an additional $1,500, offering guests private gallery access.

Availability

Events are hosted Monday through Sunday, 5:00pm to midnight, and may begin at 6:30pm.

Catering

The Catered Affair serves as the in-house caterer for all events, offering customized menus and full event-planning services, with food and beverage pricing starting at $295 per person for receptions and plated dinners.
