  • 5.0/5:

Hat Factory Arts Centre is a brilliant place to explore creativity. The venue feels vibrant and welcoming, with a great mix of exhibitions, performances, and workshops. There’s always something interesting happening, whether you’re into art, theatre, or live music.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the space itself is well maintained and inspiring. A real gem for anyone looking to enjoy arts and culture in a relaxed, local setting.

Great local place to access amazing comedy nights, I have been here a few times now and have had pleasant experiences. However, the last show I attended (Richard Blackwood) initially we were not able to access our designated seats as others were sat there, staff asked us to ask the people sitting in our seats to move, we refused as it wasn't out place to have a word neither was it the other guests fault as apparently tickets had been double booked- they need to do better with this in the future. The seating was squashed and it could have potentially caused a health and safety hazard. I was disappointed, do better guys. Despite this the show was amazing, we enjoyed Richard.

Venue is small and intimate but we were sat squashed in like sardines.
They either over sold tickets or over estimated the space.
We went to watch Richard Blackwood which was fantastic but venue hall not so good.
