I saw a sign while going to MIA. After the MIA visit, we decided to see this museum.Very interesting today I learned more about Hennepin County and the original settlers came to Minnesota Hennepin county. I also learned more about Tibetan people. Good to see at least one time. Entry is free. Donation is accepted

Hennepin History Museum is a hidden gem! Housed in a beautiful old building with original charm and stunning woodwork, it offers a unique glimpse into local history. The front desk staff: Meeks, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Admission is free, with donations encouraged, making it accessible to everyone. The history posters were fantastic; I especially loved the information about Tibet and the Tibetan community in Minneapolis.

It was great. I live close, and have a disability. I went there to get a book I knew they had- they held a copy for me. I brought some cool old pictures and they were very happy to see a bit of history brought in from a member. One of the cool places in MPLS.
