We went for the Winter Whisky deal and were not let down. The rooms are simple, clean and cozy. It was great they were couple of flights above the main bar, no noise at all for those hitting the hay early.

The food was awesome (venison and sirloin were both amazing) and obviously the whisky section is extensive and interesting. However the friendly, knowledgeable staff are the main attraction here. Incredible service from start to finish. Recommend.

Stopped by the Highlander Inn Pub and had a great time! Cozy atmosphere with friendly staff, perfect for a relaxing drink. The menu has a good selection of classic pub food, and everything tasted really fresh. A lovely spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or enjoy some local vibes.

Amazing pub and inn in a very picturesque setting in Craigellechie.

We popped in a couple of times without a booking and they were able to accommodate us for a few hours for drinks. It’s a fantastic atmosphere and a good mix of locals and tourists unlike a lot of whisky bars in the area that seem to be mostly tourists.

The whisky list is fantastic with a wide range of options and a lot of whiskies you won’t see anywhere else, including some exclusive bottlings for the bar itself. Service is fantastic and they have a real passion for whisky.

Nice selection of beers all for under £4.50 and an excellent pour of Guinness. There’s a nice beer garden out the back that gets the sun in the late afternoon and evening.

All in all a really fantastic boozer and one of the best whisky experiences in Scotland.

    Robert
