The room is clean and spacious, making the stay very comfortable. The hotel is right at the train station, which makes getting around by train or subway super easy. There are plenty of restaurants nearby with lots of food options. The breakfast buffet is delicious and has a nice Kyoto touch. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they made me feel very welcome—just like coming home. This hotel is a must-stay for anyone visiting Kyoto, and I would definitely come back and stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Granvia Kyoto! The location couldn’t be more perfect — directly at Kyoto Station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city, visit nearby attractions, and access trains and buses with ease.
Our room was very spacious, which is such a treat in Japan, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade. The comfort, cleanliness, and stunning views made our stay truly relaxing. Staff were polite, helpful, and ensured everything was smooth from check-in to check-out.
Overall, an exceptional stay in Kyoto — highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury right at the heart of the city!

Genuinely can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. All the staff were very nice and professional, and the hotel itself was excellent. Amazing views from your room, and very clean and spacious rooms especially for Japan. Not to mention, the very convenient location at Kyoto station. Despite being right at the train station, the hotel is very quiet and we got excellent sleep there. If we ever get the chance to return to Kyoto we are 100% staying at Hotel Granvia again.
