Lloydminster Public Library is a bright, modern, and welcoming space for the community. One of the best features is its convenient location inside Lloyd Mall — it’s not very common to see a public library located within a shopping mall, and it makes access incredibly easy for families and visitors.

The layout is clean and well organized, with clearly designated areas for adults and children. The children’s section is especially inviting, with colorful décor and comfortable seating. During our visit, they were hosting a painting activity for kids, which added a wonderful creative and interactive touch.

The atmosphere feels calm and open despite being inside the mall, and the shelves are neatly arranged with a good variety of books. It’s a fantastic community space where learning, creativity, and accessibility come together.

Highly recommend visiting — especially if you’re already at Lloyd Mall.

Driving from Edmonton to Preeceville,SK and we stopped at the mall to stretch our legs. We were delighted to see the library there! Went in to play and read some books and were welcomed by not one but two lovely ladies one went above to assist me with if I was able to check out books and return them at my towns library 6 hours away, the second had little snowman craft/snacks for the kids! We found tons of books and when checking out a third wonderful staff member not only helped me to check out the books but gave me some helpful information for future use! This library is the best!!! 10/10! Absolutely welcoming wonderful staff! Thank you all!

Clean and well lit with lots of community activities as well as with range of media, both physical and digital. There are a range of meeting space sizes available to use.
