I had a great stay at LM Metro Hotel in Zamboanga City. The rooms are truly 5-star quality — spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The service is good, with staff who are polite and helpful, though there’s still a bit of room for improvement in speed and attentiveness. The location is also convenient, close to key spots in the city while still offering a peaceful environment. Overall, it’s a hotel I would definitely recommend for both business and leisure travelers.

I’m very sad to say that my experience at LM Metro Hotel was not good, especially since it was supposed to be a special anniversary stay.
We had to change rooms three times due to air-conditioning issues. In the first room, the AC was not turning on at all. In the second room, the AC was working but not cooling properly and clearly needed maintenance. On the third room, the AC was finally cold, but unfortunately the washroom smelled extremely bad, similar to a septic tank smell, as if it was right next to the room. The odor was so strong that we had to keep the washroom door closed the entire time.
Because of this unpleasant experience and constant bad smell, we were very disappointed and decided not to use the pool or even the washroom. Instead of enjoying our anniversary stay, we ended up going home just to take a proper shower.
Overall, the multiple room changes, maintenance issues, and hygiene concerns completely ruined what was meant to be a memorable and relaxing celebration. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves their room maintenance and cleanliness for future guests.
