We loved it! Stayed 2 nights so we could spend one whole day hanging out watching a movie and shuffling around in the halls, outside fire pits and onsite pubs. The soaking pool was wonderful, but it might help to post public hours so you know, as a guest, to avoid it then. I do wish they had more hooks in the bedrooms and a place to hang wet swimsuits. We had a great time. Highly recommend if you stay here, you just hang out and enjoy it. The pizza was delicious.

We have stayed here twice, once in a school room and once in the English wing. I would choose the school room if you have the option. We enjoyed playing cards over drinks by the wood stove in the Detention bar. We had the fall salad and fall pizza special at the restaurant which were a nice combination. The soaking pool was really nice. The customer service from everyone we ineracted was superb.
Don't stay here if you're looking for a giant modern room with a fridge and TV. Stay here if you want a quirky vibe, convenient food/drink/soaking pool and like-minded company.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED STAYING HERE!!!! Our room was wonderful and we loved soaking in the pool, drinking in the courtyard, getting breakfast on-site and exploring the quaint hotel. The vibe perfectly encapsulated that of Portland. Staff was incredibly friendly and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend.
