y husband and I enjoyed the most wonderful Valentine’s afternoon tea at Oddfellows Hotel with two of our close friends, and it truly exceeded all expectations.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt magical. The surroundings are elegantly unique — whimsical yet refined — creating a real “wonderland” experience that makes the whole occasion feel special. Every room has its own character, and it’s impossible not to smile as you take it all in.
The afternoon tea itself was absolutely delicious. Every element, from the savoury offerings to the beautifully presented cakes and warm, freshly baked scones, was prepared to perfection. You could really taste the care and quality in every bite.
What made the experience even more memorable was the warm and friendly staff. They were attentive without being intrusive, genuinely welcoming, and made us feel completely relaxed and looked after throughout.
It was a perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with people we care about, and we will most definitely be returning. A truly memorable experience from start to finish.

Beautiful hotel. Loved the quirkiness of it. Stayed in an attic room. Double shower a particular treat and novelty. WiFi good. Cocktail bar downstairs was excellent with a massive variety. Couldn’t recommend anymore.

Lovely stay. Had it bought as a christmas present and it was such good value for money. The breakfast was amazing, was expecting continental but was served a hot breakfast. The staff were all so friendly especially the gentleman at breakfast, he really couldn't do enough for you. Such a quirky fun place right in the centre. Would stay again!
