The Marriott Mayo Clinic area was a perfect place to stay. It is newly renovated and they did an excellent job. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The North Stone restaurant was fantastic (had breakfast and dinner there) and it is right on property. The front desk, valet, room service attendants and luggage assistants were all extremely professional and friendly. The proximity to Mayo is amazing (3 min walk to main Mayo/ Gonda building- literally connected via walking subway as its an adjacent property). I would highly recommend this hotel and I will be staying here whenever I’m back in Rochester, MN. Great work Marriott Mayo Clinic area.

The hotel was convenient, clean, the gym well equipped, the food good as was the service. Our stay became quite lengthy, so we had many opportunities to be disappointed, but never was. In fact, I would like to commend the hotel for two EXCEPTIONAL staff members; David in the lounge and Daniel the gentleman who kept our room pristine. One extensive surgery, three weeks of treatment, and over 28 appointments kept us always tired and pained but this hotel was a godsend of comfort.

Our weekend stay at the Marriott in downtown Rochester was amazing. Even though there was construction all around our building our stay was so enjoyable and peacefull. Our our accommodations were very clean and the rooms had recently been remodeled. I love that they took out the carpet and have hard floors. It has a much cleaner feel. Our Bellman, Paul, did such a wonderful job taking care of our luggage and our vehicle. He went above and beyond to make our trip run smoothly. Thank you so much Paul! You are a difference maker. The front desk staff was also tremendous. They brought up extra towels to our room and completed my checkout over the phone as I was dashing out to a conference. I would highly recommend the downtown Rochester Mayo!
