Excellent put-in for a very fun section of the San Marcos river. Close to the river, very reasonable prices, even a nice bathroom with showers.

If you can't enjoy nature without booze and boombox, forget this place. Move on down the road to the hundreds of campgrounds made for you. If, however, you came out into nature for nature, this is your spot. Staff are friendly, atmosphere is peaceful (minus noisy day-tubers and some distant traffic which is certainly not the owner's fault). The river is lovely. The bathrooms are simple but clean. Thank you for sharing your lovely spot on the river.
