We went to the swimming pool here today, and the water is the warmest of any pool I’ve been to. I have been to Pan Am, St James Centennial Pool, and also YMCA at West Portage. They don’t have a hot tub or steam room or sauna.. just one big pool with shallow and deep end (10 feet). I love how warm the water is, and the water in the shower stalls are actually hot water with strong powerful jets!! I find the others like Pan Am and St James Centennial way too cold (both the pool and shower jets) for my liking. And I also love that they have a radio playing great music stations! Most of the other pools are dead quiet which I don’t really like! The other thing too is, because the pool is in a smaller area, I don’t need to do a long trek from kid’s area to the washrooms (unlike the Pan Am – the washrooms are super far away). The facility is very clean and nice to go to. It’s probably my favorite indoor pool in Winnipeg!

Great atmosphere (especially when the electricity cut out – provided a little thrill)! The big lights hard on my aging eyes, but got used to it. I appreciate the fans’ cheering for any and all good shots, no matter who the favoured team were! Thanks Princess Auto for hats!

Pool is smaller compared to others. They keep it warm. Clean locker rooms. Great swimming programs. They run free skate twice a week (as of 2025) Arena has good seating ice well kept. Constantly being cleaned it seems so thats always nice to see. A bunch of massive recycling bins off to the side is plenty helpful to the community as well 👍
