I’ve lived in Sherwood Park for 30 years, and hadn’t been to the museum since it first opened. I visited with my parents today and we were so impressed! It’s bigger than it looks from the outside, it’s super well curated and maintained, and it was just such an interesting collection of items and photographs. The women working there were really lovely and enthusiastic as well; the whole experience was just excellent.

Attended the family Halloween dance yesterday at the museum – what an incredible time! The space was decorated with incredible attention to detail with the Alice in Wonderland theme. The characters and staff had the kids engaged, there were activites and our boys had a blast dancing all evening. Thank you for all the hard work and love that went into the event. We cant wait to go back!

The purpose of my visit was to view the exhibit of Lakeview Resort. My grandparents owned Lakeview Resort and I spent every summer there right into my teens. It was fantastic to see the snippets of the history and my grandfather's base fiddle. I have a few photos and artifacts that I will bring in to expand the exhibit. I still use my grandfather's desk that was in the office there and I use it everyday. So glad someone thought to capture this moment in music history in the Edmonton area. Thank you
