We booked at the last minute for this restaurant for 14 people – we were absolutely delighted with their service, food and the welcome which was second to none. We had a private room and the decor was fabulous! .We were a fundraising group of friends for a very special lady Claire Lomas MBE. Claire died tragically last year having raised nearly a Million for her spinal charity. As a group our mission was to hit the Million target in her name. Today we ran the Great South Run and announced that we had hit the target. The Chambers restaurant greeted us with two bottles of champagne to celebrate this amazing achievement. Gestures like this are beyond combined with the most amazing roast dinners – words fail. We can recommend this restaurant and the staff one hundred percent- thank you so much for making it a totally memorable evening in so many ways👏👏👏

Had a fantastic meal from the festive menu. Celebrating my 60th birthday with family and friends. From arriving we had a friendly warm welcome. Food arrived promptly, lovely selection, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Compliments to the chef best steak ever. Our waiters were efficient and really polite, nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. Would definitely recommend and return again.

Visited this restaurant for the first time for a birthday celebration meal. The choice was quite random and last minute following a quick Google search. On arrival we were greeted warmly and expectedly and were shown to our table. The ambience and decor creates a relaxed and calm atmosphere putting you instantly at ease. We found the menu to have plenty of choice for both adults and children, with several delicious sounding options making choosing a fun challenge. I went for the fillet steak as the place seemed decent and I expected a treat. I wasn’t disappointed. The steak was cooked as ordered with the accompanying components nicely complimenting the meal. The children loved their choices too. As for the service, nothing but outstanding. The owner of the place looked after us so well and was friendly, attentive, amazing with our kids and made the experience one to remember. We hadn’t mentioned it was a birthday celebration, so this wasn’t any kind of special treatment. My mother loved every second and I would like to express my thanks and gratitude for making the evening so nice for her on her birthday. Would 100% recommend and will certainly be visiting again in the new year.
