CBTL is our usual go to place for catching up. Tried to spend sometime alone here and it was still a pleasant experience. Unlike another famous coffee chain, CBTL is not super crowded and loud. Here you can enjoy your time with your choice of coffee or book. Also they have selection of savory and sweet pastries.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf offers a cozy vibe and consistently great coffee with rich flavors and smooth blends. The pastries and drinks are top-notch, perfect for casual hangouts or work sessions. However, it’s a bit disappointing that some branches don’t provide service water unlike others.

It was a busy Saturday afternoon despite the nonstop rainfall. All tables and chairs were nearly taken. As one group of customers leave, another would come. We could’ve been easily turned away especially because of our furbabies. Yet, we were all welcomed. My family ordered 3 types of drinks-an Americano, a Caramel Macchiato and a Matcha Latte with a slice of Midnight Velvet Cheesecake. The coffee complemented the sweet treat. As we enjoyed dessert, our furries enjoyed their comfy spaces in this cold coffee shop. I like the location of this Coffee Bean. It’s readily accessible to 2 restrooms-beside the entrance to Robinsons Department Store and near the escalator. Its glass windows also provide a colorful view of passersby while we enjoy our coffee. Then there are tables with outlets on the floor for customers who need to work and power up devices like laptops and/or cellphones. Staff was courteous and despite many customers, waiting time was reasonable. The only thing that needed improvement was tables to clear when customers leave. I understand that there was so many incoming customers but tables needed to be cleaned up, too.
We removed the last customer’s tray from our table and cleaned up our own cups before we left.
EDIT: It’s now January 2026. Greenie gurl and I came after her grooming. She rested peacefully as I enjoyed my coffee. Kudos to CBTL for welcoming my furbaby. I cleaned her seat with alcohol and wipes before leaving. 😉
