True Aggieland Hospitality! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have stayed at The George in College Station many times over the years while visiting Texas A&M, and it has always been a wonderful experience. Last year we even reserved a block of rooms there for our son’s wedding, and the staff went above and beyond to take care of our family and friends. I realized I never left the review they truly deserved.

We recently returned for a special weekend getaway and once again had an exceptional stay. The hotel is welcoming, well run and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. It also perfectly captures the spirit of Aggieland.

A special thank you to Taylor and her team for their outstanding service. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guest really sets The George apart.

If you are visiting College Station, The George is a fantastic place to stay. Warm hospitality, a great atmosphere and a team that truly goes the extra mile. We’ll definitely be back!

My stay at The George Hotel in College Station was outstanding from start to finish. The overall quality and value of the hotel were excellent — it’s clear that a lot of thought and care go into maintaining both the atmosphere and the guest experience.

The bar was a highlight of my visit, offering an impressive cocktail menu and a relaxed, stylish vibe. I highly recommend trying the Oaxaca Old Fashioned — it’s perfectly balanced and one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a hotel bar.

The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out effortless. Their professionalism and warmth really set the tone for the entire stay.

One of the most memorable touches was the artificial sheep scattered throughout the hotel — they move occasionally and add a quirky, lighthearted charm that makes The George stand out in the best way.

There were some minor renovation noises during my stay, but it was a small inconvenience that didn’t detract from the overall experience. The staff handled everything with grace, and it certainly wouldn’t stop me from staying here again.

Overall, The George delivers a fantastic blend of style, comfort, and hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting College Station.

Check out the bar “1791” Whiskey bar. If you enjoy cocktails, this is the best place in town! All of the bartenders are incredible. On my most recent visit, Tori was my bartender; she makes a great Old Fashioned!
