We stayed at The Inn overnight. It was amazing. It's like staying in an 1840 mansion with all the modern amenities. The staff, including Kendra, Anthony, Christy and the evening and morning restaurant staff were fantastic. If you like history and great personal service, this is for you. We hope to return for a longer stay.

What a beautiful place to stay in Vicksburg! This historic home offers, elegant accommodations, friendly staff, and the chance to imagine you’re back in the days of antebellum America enjoying luxury as the wealthy did. Each room has a story including cannonballs still in the walls and floor from the siege of 1863.
There is a guided tour to learn more of the house’s story.
We had a delicious dinner and elegant breakfast in the on-site dining room.
If you get a chance to indulge yourself and stay here, take it.

Very disappointed in our stay, although the staff were very friendly. The room was okay and the bed comfortable but it was way too hot and no thermostat to adjust temperature at night; the breakfast was awful, which should be the highlight of a bed and breakfast; the breakfast included grapes, which were spotty, cantaloupe, biscuits and crispy bacon but no eggs. Why would you have bacon and biscuits without any egg dish? Doesn't make sense. Had to clean off crumbs from the dinning table chairs before we could sit down. Had to have staff replaced the silverware that had a film of grease on every piece (very unhealthy and concerning).
