We visited over Labor Day weekend in September and were pleasantly surprised that admission to the museum (select galleries) was still free, even though the holiday fell on a Monday. That was such a nice bonus.

The territory is absolutely beautiful — it truly feels like you’re somewhere in Italy. The architecture, palm trees, and courtyard views create a very European atmosphere.

The art galleries are impressive, with diverse collections and elegant exhibition spaces that are enjoyable to explore at a relaxed pace. Overall, a wonderful cultural experience and a place we would happily visit again.

The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art is one of our favorite places to visit in Sarasota. We love it so much that we try to go at least once a month.

One of the best things about it is that admission is free on Mondays, which makes it an easy and worthwhile visit even if you just want to walk around for a while. The museum itself is beautiful, with an impressive collection of art and stunning architecture throughout the grounds.

The entire property is enjoyable to explore, from the galleries to the gardens, and it never really feels repetitive even after multiple visits. Every time we go, we notice something new.

If you’re in Sarasota, it’s absolutely worth visiting, especially on a Monday when admission is free.

Everything about this place is worth seeing. Paid the extra for the Ca' d'Zan mansion tour (first floor only). Can only imagine life in the 1920s and the history of Ringlings success is unbelievable for that era.

The circus model was phenomenal and interactive.

The botanical grounds of the museum were still in recovery from the recent hurricane but still enjoyable. They were setting up for an after hours live music and dancing event at the mansion which would have been fun to stay for.

Highly recommend going during off season as it was very crowded during our visit on Presidents Day. Need at least 5 or more hours to see all without rushing.
