Well, I have to give it to them—this hotel really blew me away. Literally. After a long, exhausting day of travel, I arrived at what was supposed to be my sanctuary, only to find that the hotel had been imploded earlier that morning. I guess they wanted to surprise me with their “open concept” design.

The check-in process? Non-existent. The room? More spacious than I could have imagined—mostly because it didn’t exist anymore. However, the fresh air and the new skyline views of crumbled concrete were quite stunning.

On the plus side, parking was a breeze—there were no walls to worry about, so I could park anywhere! The staff was also easy to find… well, pieces of them anyway (no worries, they were on break during the demolition).

Enjoyed my stay here as always. The rooms were clean as always and the hotel was clean. The food was excellent at each of the in hotel restaurants and the coffee shop option was great.

A coupe of suggestions: although the rooms are clean they are seriously decorated for the 70s. It would be nice to re decorate. As a diamond member there doesn’t seem to be any real perks so coming here with an expectation for additional services makes me want to find another option. Parking is great through the week is great until Friday and Saturday night. Make sure you get your parking Early because members don’t have any special parking privileges.

My husband and I booked a suite with a jacuzzi and sauna during the week of Christmas. We had an absolutely amazing time. The staff was very attentive. The dealers were very friendly, especially Tim. The cocktail waitresses were very nice, especially Adella and Lilly. Jesse, one of the floor managers, gave great restaurant recommendations. My husband had a health scare on our last night, and security was on the ball and helpful. It's a shame the casino, with all its history, will be getting torn down. We've enjoyed coming here over the years. Thank you!
