Didn’t have any food as we went to the Venue to see Neil Delamere’s standup. Great venue. Very friendly staff. Beer not that expensive. Will definitely go here again.

Cannot comment on food, but my review is based on the Tuesday quiz nights.
We've attended at least twice now. It can get quite busy, but we've never had issues booking a table in advance. Just needed to rock up for 8pm and download the quiz app. The questions are very varied – I'm not a massive fan of pub quizzes, but I do enjoy these ones!
The environment is really pleasant; not a rowdy type of pub.
Drinks at an acceptable price. We'll definitely be back!

Smashing little live music venue which is intimate but also has space. Beer prices are reasonable for a venue with a decent selection.
Watch out for the hot water taps in the Gents (can't speak for the lady's 😅). They don't have 'cation, very hot water' signs (they need them as you can make tea with it), or a cold feed diverted to them.
