I stayed at the hotel from October 15 to 17 while attending the Tianjin Heli Expo. The staff were all very kind and genuinely tried their best to provide good service. In particular, the front desk staff member named Icy was exceptionally customer-oriented. She proactively helped adjust my Spanish friend’s accommodation charge in a fair and reasonable way from the customer’s perspective, which deeply impressed both of us. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Icy for her kindness and excellent service.
The hotel room was clean, spacious, and offered a great night view of the buildings along the Haihe River. The lobby seemed to have limited seating because of the coffee shop, and it was a bit inconvenient since there was no clear information on whether guests could sit there without ordering a drink.
The breakfast selection was very diverse and fresh—I highly recommend it. There were also several large shopping malls within a 10-minute walk, and using Didi (ride-hailing service) was very convenient.

Highly impressed with The Westin Tianjin. The service was efficient and very courteous, making for a seamless check-in/out process. The room was excellent: quiet, well-appointed with a great work desk, and the high-speed internet was reliable. An ideal hotel for a productive business trip. The facilities are top-notch.

I appreciate this hotel. Despite its age, the lobby and rooms are maintained impeccably, exuding cleanliness and warmth. The rooms are notably spacious, treating guests to luxuries like a walk-in wardrobe and a rain shower. However, the true highlight is the 'software'—the staff's performance is exceptional. Their dedication to customer service is evident. Take, for instance, our experience: we arrived on a red-eye flight at 8:30 am, well before the standard check-in time. Nevertheless, the reception went out of their way to prepare a room for us so we could store our luggage and freshen up, all while waiting for our second room to be ready by noon. Their thoughtfulness was remarkable. The concierge staff were equally impressive, always eager to engage in friendly conversation and offer insightful travel advice for exploring Tianjin. The positive atmosphere in this hotel is palpable. 👍
