We had a great stay at Tree Hive!
The place is very accessible, located right in the center of the city, which made getting around super easy. It’s also very affordable, perfect if you’re on a budget.
The rooms were comfortable and cozy, and we felt at ease the entire time. I stayed with my mom (a senior citizen) and my 7-year-old kid, and it was a good fit for both—safe, convenient, and relaxing.
Highly recommended for stopovers, group stays, or family trips. Definitely one of the best value-for-money accommodations in Dumaguete. We’ll surely consider staying again next time!

It’s my first time at Tree-Hive, stayed there for two nights and the whole place was clean and tidy, aircon’s functioning well, bedsheets and towels were clean. There’s also bidet (of which I am grateful for), and the shower is also functioning well. You can also ask for a room makeover, there’s water dispenser available for everyone, and the staffs were also nice and approachable. The place’s also a walking distance to boulevard, port, school and church. There’s also 7eleven store and Jollibee beside the guest house, and Chowking, Angel’s Pizza and Figaro around the area. Hope to stay here again.

The reception staff are friendly enough but couldn’t provide a cup for a cup of coffee. The hotel is very basic, bedrooms very small. My room didn’t have an extractor in the bathroom so there was mould on the ceiling which attracted a lot of small flies! They wouldn’t change my room! The AC unit is noisy & noise from outside, so didn’t sleep much! There are a lot better places for the same price if you search around online! Wouldn’t stay here again!
