My daughter Mya, my sister Charity and her kids loved our visit here. What an amazing light show for the holiday season. The park had real fires lite all over the park so that you could warm up at any time. The smell of the wood smoke on a cold winter night is amazing. We enjoyed the indoor exhibits before the light show. I liked the giraffes and hippopotamus. Then there were the snakes! Man some of them were over 6 feet long!! Geez! There were some really cute animals as well. We want to spend more time here when we come the next time!

Absolutely a fantastic and stunning zoo with great habitats for the beautiful animals that they take excellent care of. Such a great variety of species that they care for. Our family had so much fun visiting and the night of lights was spectacular with so much work put into it. It was very gorgeous. The dual price for visiting the zoo during the day and doing night of lights was very reasonable for a family activity. You could also bring in snacks for your kids and they had nice restaurants as well. For hot cocoa and drinks and snacks… . Give It definite five star!!

Had a lovely zoolights experience with my mom this year! It's our first time being back in 4 years. The lights were well thought out and certain exhibits had music performances too.
It feels like the Calgary Zoo continues to elevate the overall experience for visitors because I don't remember the zoolights being as fun or engaging, so it felt like they knocked it out the park this time!
Got treated to exceptional weather on Dec 28 but warming stations were all setup if anyone was cold. Plenty of opportunities to also warm up indoors as a nice break from the outdoors if needed. Lots of interactive activities for children and their families too. T
They even turned the entire dinosaur exhibit into a Santa/elf story with coordinated lighting! Very engaging.
Purchasing your tickets ahead of time will help streamline your entry.
Thanks for helping me create these lastng memories with my mom (thanks so much to the kind staff that helped take our photo!)
