Wonderful place to visit. Guides are very knowledgeable about the house and family. Great rxample of early architecture. Beautifully preserved structure in original interior colors. We had a personal tour. There was a collection of antique furniture including a portable bed used by mobile officers during the revolution.

Most underrated museum in Virginia, truly a jewel and masterpiece of Georgian architecture. The tour guide was also incredible and so knowledgeable.
