Service and the people are outstanding. The Buffet is one of my top 10 favourite and we have travelled and eaten in some fancy Buffet’s and this is excellent. Pre buy before you go to save. The hotel itself is 90’s vibe but very well maintained so it’s fine. Great workout area pool and Tennis facilities. Needs Pickleball but you can go across the street and play with groups ask the Tennis people for directions. All and all the only place u would stay in the Philippines.

It is over 10 years since I last stayed here and it remains as charming as ever. Sure, it isn't ultra-modern however I think it is timeless.
I love the design of the rooms and the huge bed.
The staff were always so friendly and welcoming.
The tennis courts were well maintained and the racquet and playing partner they arranged for me were great.
My spa treatment was very relaxing.
I didn't dine there as my favourite restaurant is only a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Our one-night stay at Makati Shangri-La was truly exceptional and left a lasting impression. From the moment we arrived, the level of attentiveness and thoughtfulness to small details was evident, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for.
Housekeeping deserves special commendation for the immaculate condition of the room. Everything was perfectly prepared, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, which made our short stay feel effortless and relaxing.
The Horizon Club experience was a definite highlight. It’s really worth getting club access, the sense of privacy and exclusivity made it feel special. Breakfast at the Horizon Club Lounge was excellent with it’s own menu, a well-curated selection and a calm, refined atmosphere.
We would also like to commend the gym and fitness facilities. The amenities were impressive, well-maintained, and clearly designed with a lifestyle-focused approach in mind. The thoughtful layout and quality of the fitness area further reflected the hotel’s attention to guest well-being. Despite the brief stay, Makati Shangri-La delivered a polished, thoughtful, and memorable experience. It’s a hotel that truly values its guests, and we would gladly return.
