Lovely place in the nicest part of Sunderland. Sympathetically refurbished, the character of the old fire station is really well intertwined with the modern restaurant. Interesting history in the lobby area about how the fire brigade was established. Service was very good, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Dog friendly and a lively atmosphere. Food was very good, the Korean chicken burgers were cooked perfectly with crispy fresh fries. Perfect place for a group, couples and families.

Heard and seen so much about this place so visited between Christmas and New Year. Located in a quickly developing area of the city , the Fire Station is a lovely venue. Interesting place full of history, facts and memorabilia transporting you back in time . Had lunch here , varied menu , reasonable prices and decent quality food. Plenty of seating for couples and groups with a great outdoor area too for warmer days. Well worth a visit, for food or a drink or coffee .

Had a great night here watching Country Roads. Staff very helpful and drinks not a bad price. Buy a bottle of you're buying more than one glass of wine as it works out cheaper. You get to take the wine into the auditorium in a plastic verse which is really great
