Very enjoyable meal in an old British pub setting at Bury St Edmunds on Angel Hill. Plenty of seating and very pleasant staff. Atmosphere is a little noisy so they would benefit from some additional sound baffles. But overall it's a great venue and experience.

I visited this pub/restaurant on a busy Saturday evening. The atmosphere was good and we were greeted warmly by the staff. There were a good selection of dishes, not just the standard food we tend to see nowadays in restaurants. My starter, which consisted of two small oxtail cakes and a sauce was exceptional. They also make their own beer which I tried and enjoyed and, in my opinion, takes the place to the next level.
Service provided by Jonny was also of note. He told he was new to the restaurant but acted like a seasoned professional regularly checking we were satisfied and engaging well in conversation with a good sense of humour despite being very busy.

We keep meaning to pay a visit as we heard the roast dinners were amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. Also you can opt for a wine flight which was a really fun experience as you get to try four to five white or red wines. Already looked at the Vino Gusto website to order our favourites. The staff were amazing and really attentive. The surroundings were cosy and modern. We will definitely be back to try more food and wine!
