How do you recap/review the most magical day of your life!? It’s like trying to explain a Saskatchewan sunset with only a picture. It doesn’t do it justice – you have to be there in person to explain how amazing it is. It’s the same with our experience with having your wedding at the Barn at Winds Edge. However we will try to capture the day with some words with the hope you can imagine it in your mind.
From the planning stage right to the end, Kaylee and Chelsea were amazing to have in our corner. They answered every question even the minor ones, promptly, kindly and patiently. They have a true talent with keeping you on task and having everything organized. 10/10 for the planning stage. The staff is professional and very personable. Sean and Honey were there every step of the way on the day of decorating and then on the day of. I feel like they are friends from the 2 days we spent with them. They even packed up a to go box for us as they noticed we were too busy dancing and visiting to get a chance to go through the night lunch. The serving staff were polite and so many of them! They just kept showing up to clear plates, fill water, and just make the whole experience top notch.
5 star would be an understatement to describe the food that was served. Such unique combinations and not your “normal” buffet meal. So many guests commented how amazing it was. It’s the same as tasting something vs seeing a picture of it, you just cant explain how wonderful it is.
The venue itself would have been enough to just show up and use undecorated, but once we added our own personal touches it was absolutely stunning. The chandeliers themselves are show stoppers. The loft and grooms lounge were amazing and such a great place to get ready in. The beauty in the grounds and flowers made you feel relaxed even before you stepped into the barn. Our first dance photos were unreal with the disco ball and all the lights reflecting off of them. Every corner is purposefully planned out to make the whole venue tie together. Then top it all off with the dj and dance-it was a great party to end our day.
There is not one thing we would change about our day. Thank you doesn’t seem like enough to express how much we were in love with the day. You made our vision come to life and everything was perfect. We couldn’t have started our life together in a better way.
