Ximena was so accommodating checking us into our room. She ensured we had everything we need and was so friendly at the same time! 10/10 review for her!

The room is perfect and the view of Riverside park is beautiful! The location is outstanding with just a short walk to Victoria street and the two restaurants on site make dining so easy!

We would 10/10 recommend this hotel to anyone!

So glad I chose this hotel for my recent trip to Kamloops! Perfect location for my needs, excellent service, clean and comfortable room, spacious and well-equipped fitness center.

I have to get picky to find flaws: the window in my room had a very effective blackout blind, but no sheer curtain for privacy with some natural light. The hot tub was out of service for my 2 night visit, and the pool was out of service on my second night – but to make up for that, complimentary passes to the nearby Y were offered, so not really a big deal. That's about it – everything else was perfect.

Thanks so much to the wonderful staff especially Sukaran for the excellent service! Will definitely choose Sandman next time I'm in Kamloops.

We've stayed here a few times before, and the rooms have never been immaculate, but this time was noticably worse. While the service is always wonderful, the room this time was disgusting…

Bathroom was dirty, and missing a shade on one sconce. Dirty slightly sticky floors, dirty grout, dirty damaged walls, dirty sink that wouldn't drain. I didn't dare shower.

Room was a mess as well. Sconces in the room all crooked, noise machine was dirty, no available bedside plugs, furniture damaged with un-secured glass on top, they've replaced the blinds with a velcro blanket that doesn't reach the bottom of the window…

The parking lot is paid public as well, so if there's an event near by, and your vehicle won't fit underground, too bad?

If we'd not been in a rush, and were spending more time in the room than maybe 8 hours sleeping, we would have asked to switch. Not sure how someone deemed that mess acceptable.
