APU and Alaska in general are really special places, and I would like to possibly do an MBA here.
I mean look at the other pictures of this place throughout the year, especially in the fall! So beautiful!
I've never been to Alaska as of 2024, but coming from Florida and doing undergrad in Colorado, I have always wanted to visit or even live in Alaska. It's definitely one of my favorite states! So I believe that doing grad school here will help me make that decision for myself.

I graduated from APU in 2014 with my Bachelor's in Earth Science. I was beneficial enough to "stumble" across the university during my university search shortly after high school. Coming from a small town in northwest Georgia I was worried about traveling across the country and attending a small liberal arts school in Alaska, but after arriving the residence life staff and the university were beyond welcoming. The school offers "active learning" courses that give students a perspective to learning that goes beyond the confines of a classroom. During my studies, I was able to study earth science first hand from the volcanoes on the big island of Hawaii or the gold mines of Alaska. I would highly recommend the university to any perspective student that wants an active learning experience and true faculty engagement.
