My daughter treated me to an evening at the Citadel for “A Christmas Carol”!!! Fantastic and festive! Amazing local talent! After years of attending, my daughter returned the favor❤️. Merry Christmas, everyone!

I am thoroughly enjoying my first visit to Citadel, thanks in large part to the kindness and courtesy of the staff and security guards. We asked to conduct a DIY prenup photoshoot and were kindly given permission, with congratulations extended to us. Thank you for the kindness and warm hospitality shown by your staff.

Death of a Salesman at the Citadel in Edmonton.

Having seen this play before, I was not prepared for this rendition: I laughed, I cried and everything in between.

The performance gave rise to audience responses (laughter, tears, horror) not always seen in live theatre.
Special mention must be given to John Ullyatt (Willy Loman), Nadien Chu (Linda Loman) and Nathan Kay (Biff Loman). These three expressed emotion so real I honestly felt the joy and pain of their decisions.

The work of Jeff Gladstone on Upright Bass beautifully matched the crescendo of the play as it made its way toward an ending we all know but were still anxiously awaiting.

Well worth the time and price of admission.
