An amazing largescale park with lake and river side trails through many different types of landscape from woodland to meadow which provides access to a huge range of wildlife.
In addition there are many other amenities within the area including two cafes and a visitor centre alongside various activity zones.
Whether visiting the area or as a local resident there are so many things to see and do.
Definitely worth a visit!

Visited many times, but today just the wooden trail.
However, the whole park it's perfect to go for walks, visit different sites like coffee shops, playgrounds for the children, ride on the train ( this will depend on the days and weather), and also boat rides (this is seasonal). There's a lot in here, as sometimes they do events as well. Always look at the website for what's happening. But, if you like nature like I do, Ferry meadows is a great escape from the town of Peterborough.

My girlfriend and I came here, and it's a lovely walk. In some sections, it feels very close to nature, while others are clearly designed for children to play. It's a wonderful place for a quiet day out.
