A great park in the middle of the city. It's an ideal place to come for a lunch brake, a walk with kids, or just to relax. Singapore parks will be most remembered when I get back home.

Beautiful open park, mostly free, we didn't bother paying for a 'battle' attraction.
Be aware it's made of hilly walk ways, some ramped, some with steep stairs. I would not consider this very accessible.
Lots of runners and visitors walking around.

I often take my morning walk around Fort Canning Park. On Sundays, the areas around Fort Canning, City Hall, Padang, and opposite Funan are usually quite lively.
Many migrant workers gather here on their day off to meet friends, dress nicely, and enjoy picnics with food they bring from home. A large number of them are from the Burmese community, as nearby Peninsula Plaza is a well-known meeting place for them.
It’s a common and familiar weekend scene for regular visitors. Sometimes tourists even ask if there is an event happening. Just a helpful note for anyone planning to visit the area on Sunday.
