20 AUGUST 2025 1351-I was delighted with the cleanliness and pristine condition of the premises in the early afternoon.The counter staff gladly changed my seating before i made payment.The staff were all working without supervision.Not One employee using a Mobile Device.Golden Village was smart to place massage chairs for waiting movie goers.
The movie was interrupted by a late customer who entered with an extra bright flash light.He proceed to sit and continued to use his mobile device throughout the movie.It was too bright so I approached a female staff for assistance. As soon as she leaves,he continued but with a less bright screen.Uncomfortable for movie patrons at the sides and back.I personally thank the female staff for conducting safety checks on theatres.She was professional and polite,something you rarely see in movie theatres across the island.Same goes for the kind understanding manager whom I requested to see to avoid implicating the innocent female staff.

Kitty and I decided to catch a movie at Golden Village Yishun for a screening of Nei Zha 2. This theatre holds a special place in our hearts. It was our go-to cinema back in our secondary school days, and it's still here, just as vibrant as we remember it. Stepping back into Golden Village Yishun was like stepping back in time, but with a modern twist. The theatre is even cleaner and more organized than we recall, and the seating is more comfortable. Before the movie, we even treated ourselves to a relaxing half-hour massage on the massage chairs just outside our theatre. The air conditioning was cool and refreshing, and the sound quality, as always, was excellent. It was a delightful trip down memory lane, and we're glad we chose this theatre to enjoy our movie.
