A really, really nice experience.
Very well laid out display network.
The entire museum seamlessly transitions between every war/conflict timeframe. Allowing the visitor to have a personal experience themselves. Relating to stories communicated to understand the loss and courage of many Iowa residents.
All of the staff are either veterans or family of a veteran.

This place has way more to see than I anticipated. We actually had to skip a couple of side exhibits due to time constraints. Lots of history here. There's a really cool submarine periscope you can look through, too! FYI, you'll need an ID to get on the base, so be sure to bring one with you.

This place was amazing. My son loves all things tanks. We drove from over 6 hours away to see it. Well worth the drive. Has history from pre WW1 all the way up to Desert Storm.
The military vehicles outside are all very well kept and easy to get photos on.
