Wow! 😍 What an amazing meal had! This is a super cute, super tasty, place to eat! I do not eat fish, but wow the kilawin was something I couldn't get enough of. Topped off with carrot cake that is simply Devine. 10/10 recommend!

When in Ilocos, one must try Ilocano cuisine—and La Preciosa is a good place to go for it. We ordered Poqui Poqui (their version of tortang talong), Pinakbet with Sitcharon, Dinengdeng, Insarabasab. It’s kind of pricy, relative to the region, but pretty normal prices compared to Manila.

I recommend the Poqui Poqui and the Insarabasab, which were both highlights. I found the serving for the Insarabasab not worth it for the price, while the Pinakbet was good, I kinda expected more bagnet (as advertised). We also ordered smoothies, and the banana one was the standout as the mango one was weird.

The main draw would probably be their carrot cake, which is one of the best I ever had in the country! An exagerration? No, it’s simply that good.

My main gripe, however, was the time it took to serve our order. Our dinner coincided with a dinner of a prominent political family who literally filled up almost the entire place (at least 30). While I am confident that they didn’t order beforehand, we arrived first, and they should have not taken almost an hour to serve us.

Still a great place to dine, especially if you’re with friends or family.

Really good food!! We love the fish steak, poqui poqui, and their crispy dinuguan! Would definitely come back.
