Really good place to relax and soak in the local vibe. Best time to visit is evening, around 6–8 PM, when the weather is pleasant and the area comes alive.

There are lots of food outlets along the baywalk, offering almost every type of food, so it’s easy to grab snacks or dinner while enjoying the view. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a local mela/fair with rides and games, which adds to the experience.

2 wheeler parking is free and ample parking space.

Overall: A must-visit spot to complete the Puerto Princesa experience. Great for walking, food, and evening vibes.

checked out Baywalk in Puerto Princesa, and it ended up being one of my favorite chill spots in the city. It’s super open, breezy, and perfect if you just want a relaxing walk without doing anything too intense.

The place looks really nice—lots of space, a great view of the water, and the sunset hits perfectly. I went around late afternoon and the whole area had this laid-back vibe with people jogging, biking, or just hanging out. There are food stalls too, so you can grab some snacks or street food while enjoying the view.

What I really liked is how clean and wide the whole area is. You’re not bumping into crowds, and there’s always a good spot to sit, relax, or take photos. It’s basically a simple place, but the kind where you can easily spend an hour just enjoying the breeze.

If you’re in Puerto Princesa and want somewhere chill and free to visit, Baywalk is definitely worth the stop.

Puerto Princesa Baywalk is honestly one of the best public spots in the city if you’re looking for a relaxing place to hang out. I love going there late in the afternoon, especially just before sunset. The sea breeze, the view of the water, and the warm colors of the sky make it a peaceful and beautiful spot to just slow down and breathe.

The walkway is wide and great for casual strolls or biking, and there are usually families, couples, and tourists around—everyone enjoying the same calm vibe. There are food stalls along the area too, selling grilled seafood, street food like fish balls, and cool drinks, which makes the experience even better.

What I appreciate is that the area feels safe and generally clean. But I do hope the city government continues to maintain it well—not just the pathway and landscaping, but also the facilities. One thing I noticed is the lack of clean, accessible restrooms. That would make a big difference for both locals and tourists. It would also be great if they could add more shaded areas or resting spots, especially for older visitors and families with kids. It gets really hot during the day, and a few more covered benches would go a long way.

Still, even with those improvements needed, the Baywalk is a gem in the city. It’s not commercialized or overly crowded, and that’s part of its charm. It gives you a real sense of the local life in Puerto Princesa—calm, simple, and close to nature.
