I had an excellent stay at the Grand Dame Hotel in Iloilo. The location is ideal if you want convenient access while still experiencing the provincial charm of the city.
What truly stands out is their top-rated customer service—the staff are genuinely attentive and go out of their way to provide for every guest’s needs. Their warm hospitality makes you feel well cared for throughout your stay.
Overall, the Grand Dame Hotel offers more than just comfortable accommodations; it delivers a memorable Iloilo experience. Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. It's easy to find and there are lots of shops and kerinderya right out front. Get the highest floor available!
The decor is nice, I appreciated the old fashioned aesthetic. The beds are stiff. Since I took a long flight across the Pacific Ocean, my butt needed a break, but unfortunately after an hour of trying to sleep, I once again felt pain in my rear as if I was in those chairs again. Using two of the four pillows, I was able to cushion myself and didn't feel the same way the second night (although I would still prefer a softer bed).
The staff are attentive and helpful. My reservation came with breakfasts paid for, and I don't regret it. We could order two latte's for breakfast. The menu selection is good, with American and Filipino options. The thick slices of sourdough bread were delicious! They will ask you how you want your eggs cooked.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting places within Iloilo via taxi. If you just need to crash for one night after a long flight, there are other options around Iloilo proper.
