This was my second time here. I really enjoyed it. The decor is industrial with a red brick vaulted ceiling. It looked lovely with the Christmas decorations up. The food is really good. I had a goat's cheese, walnut and pear sandwich on seeded brown bread with coleslaw and fries as extras (shared). Excellent sized portions – and the fries were exceptional!! Very crispy outside, soft inside and very hot. The only negatives are inadequate parking at busy times and the noise level in the restaurant. There are no soft furnishings which makes for a very loud atmosphere. Screeching Christmas partygoers didn't help. I will go back, but not in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

I’ve been here a few times now. For dinner and for breakfast and every time it’s been top notch. I love this place. It’s so quirky and unique, I love the history behind it and the decor is amazing. But the food…… the food is always a 10/10 for me. The breakfast bagel stacks are out of this world, I couldn’t eat one every day or I’d be huge 😂 but as a treat here and there it’s now my go to for a breaky treat.the other meals I’ve had there are just as gorgeous and worth every penny. Absolutely beautiful food. Possibly the nicest food I’ve had from anywhere. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are always friendly and cheerful. So if you’ve never been then definitely give this place a visit. It’s absolutely worth it. I’ll be back again in a few weeks and am even planning on going for my birthday in November. Love love love the place.

Great place!! Took our son out for his birthday while here at Uni. This is a very good and quirky restaurant and the food was excellent!! Closes at 11pm bit has bar and seating outside. next time we are down to see Joe we are going to stay here as it has rooms too and food is brilliant!! The steak I ordered was done to perfection (medium rare) and others had the Fish Medley which my son 'hoovered' up🤣🤣 Students!!
