This boutique hotel is very close to the airport. Breakfast is served. Rooms are small but comfortable. There are a couple larger rooms for longer stays. Hotel is connected to Ralph's Liquors with large wine selection. Wine tasting take place and one can learn about wines too.

A gathering like no other, The Grand Wine Experience will be held this week, November 15 , 2019 at Marriot Grand Ballroom. Over 700 wines, beers, whiskeys, and spirits; 100+ wineries, breweries, and distilleries will flock to Manila for a night of exquisite experience.

As a prelude to the event, we were given a sneak peak of some of the wines and more to be present at the event.

We started off our tasting experience with several Ramon Bilbao Masterpieces. To our information, Ramon Bilbao is the largest winery in Spain, taking over more than 8% of the industry’s market share. We got the privilege to try their 2010 Gran Reserva, Rose, and 2015 Edicion Limitada. We also got to to appreciate Scotch Whisky as we started tasting Tamnavulin’s Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky. We capped off our evening with Singleton’s Single Malt Scotch Whisky Aged 12, 15, and 18. For this last one, we personally love the whisky aged for 15 years.

We were surprised to find out that the Wine Museum in Pasay had a few rooms for rent so we decided to give it try the next time we needed to do business in neighboring Makati. Price point is REALLY GREAT if you are just looking for a quiet place to sleep in. They serve food downstairs at their cafe which is right next to the Wine store. Room is small but functional with its own small AC unit. It was very quiet. Since the Wine Museum is also near the airport, it's a perfect temporary home for folks with extended stop-over overs in Manila. Nice comfy place for those in transit.
