The hotel staff is super well trained professional and helpful. The facility is fantastic for architecture and landscaping. The pools are clean, the food is good. The waterpark (mostly for kids) is good for adults too. The free boat trip to the sandbar is run by a courteous professional crew. We had a delightful stay here. Not one glitch or negative aspect to this experience. It is a bit isolated if you want to explore, but it is closer to the main island attractions than the city. I highly recommend this resort.

The city of Puerto Princesa is super clean- the nicest area I’ve seen in Philippines! Palawan is a good island for foreigners to visit and enjoy for about a week. I recommend booking tours around the island with the operators directly to save the hotel’s markup.

The Astoria Palawan was a really pleasant surprise. The hotel & grounds are pretty immaculate, the rooms are well decorated & appointed, the staff are friendly & helpful and the food in the restaurant is of a fairly high standard.

It has three swimming pools which are all quite nice. The only downside is the beach – as other people have said, the swimming area isn't really fit for swimming and never gets deeper than about waist height (good for kids I guess).

However, the hotel offers free trips to the sand bar for snorkelling (by Echo Marine – definitely worth doing) and Pak Pak Lauin Beach.

There's also a range of free activities like mini golf.

    Top-notch customer service!
Everyone was polite, warm, and approachable.

Special shout-out to Mr. Adrian Eco. His friendly nature and his constant willingness to help made our entire stay smooth, pleasant, and completely stress-free. We truly appreciate his dedication and exemplary service.

Also, kudos to the Palawan Water Park Resort staff Mr. Daniel Tomazon Jr. and Mr. Agustin Atilano for their assistance. They were very helpful in taking our photos and videos and made sure our belongings were kept safe at all times. Their friendly and attentive service made our experience enjoyable and worry-free

Big thanks also to the beach area security staff for always offering insect repellent whenever we stayed near the beach. It really helped keep insect bites to a minimum and made our time there much more comfortable.

Thank you Astoria Palawan for the amazing stay. Highly recommended. 💚
