Such a beautiful cathedral. To savour the culture, architecture, the story do the audio/video guided tour. The device is £5 but worth it. It takes you through a detailed trip and a great way to navigate around the cathedral. You might miss a few sections of the cathedral without the audio/video guide.

I recently visited Canterbury Cathedral during the Christmas market season and was truly impressed by its stunning architecture. Although I didn’t go inside, the exterior alone was breathtaking. The building looked especially beautiful at night, warmly lit and full of character. The surrounding Christmas market created a lovely atmosphere, with great food and a festive, welcoming feel. Overall, it was a memorable experience and a highlight of my visit to Canterbury.

1-The Ticket: At approximately £18–£21, the entry fee might seem high, but it usually acts as a year-long pass, allowing you to return as many times as you like for 365 days.

2-Timing: Try to arrive early in the morning or about 90 minutes before Evensong to avoid the largest tour groups.

2-Dogs: Interestingly, the cathedral is dog-friendly (on a short lead), which is rare for such a historic site!
