To anyone beginning their wedding planning and considering Fasque—we couldn’t recommend it more!
From the moment we first visited, we knew Fasque was the perfect place for our wedding. The venue itself is stunning, but what truly sets it apart is the incredible staff. They made us feel so special throughout the entire planning process and even more so during our wedding weekend. We honestly feel like we’ve made friends for life.
Our wedding coordinator, Brooke, was amazing from day one. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and supported us over 18 months of planning. Her dedication, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel like we were the only couple getting married. We cannot thank her enough for everything she did.
The day before the wedding, we arrived early to set up and met more of the staff working behind the scenes. Everyone was just as kind and helpful. Our friends and family were welcomed so warmly, and many commented on how professional and accommodating the staff were. A special mention to Phil, who looked fantastic in his kilt all weekend and was always ready to help.
We were lucky with sunny weather and enjoyed a delicious BBQ catered by the chefs—there was so much incredible food, and the service was flawless. Chris took over in the evening and made sure everything ran smoothly. He was fantastic.
On the morning of the wedding, my bridesmaids, mums, and I started getting ready early in the powder room. Lynne and Lucy were amazing, checking in on us constantly, bringing tea, coffee (and prosecco!), a gorgeous fruit platter, and breakfast. Katy also ensured we were comfortable and enjoying the morning. A big thank you to the behind-the-scenes team, who helped get our day off to the perfect start.
There was even a small flower crisis with the groom’s buttonhole that Lynne helped fix—thank you! Brooke remained by our side, keeping us calm and on schedule. She was with our bridal party as we walked down the aisle, which meant the world.
After the ceremony, Brooke greeted us with fizz and it felt like seeing a close friend. We had chosen a grazing table over canapés and sent Brooke some inspiration images. The chefs blew us away—it was beyond anything we imagined! The food was stunning, plentiful, and a huge hit with our guests.
The Wedding Breakfast was equally outstanding. Every dish was delicious, and the compliments from our guests poured in. Thank you to the talented chefs and the professional, friendly serving staff who helped create a wonderful experience.
We loved that there was no “room turnover” required—our evening reception was held in the same room as the ceremony, but with a completely transformed, party-ready atmosphere. The bar staff worked tirelessly all night to serve guests quickly and with a smile. The newly refurbished bar area was a cozy, welcoming space to relax in between dances.
We didn’t want the night to end. After the main celebrations, some guests stayed up playing pool in one of the libraries, which added to the relaxed and fun atmosphere.
Sunday morning brought another delicious breakfast, once again catered by the chefs and served by Lynne, Lucy, and many others whose names we didn’t catch but truly appreciated. Saying goodbye was hard—especially to Brooke, who had become such a big part of our lives over the past 18 months.
We had the most incredible wedding weekend and are so grateful to every single member of the Fasque team. You made us feel so special, supported, and cared for throughout. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We wish we could do it all over again!
