We held our daughter (and new son-in-law)’s wedding reception here on September 13th. The venue was beautiful…stunning actually…and the staff and food were absolutely amazing. We are curling and golf members, but apparently you can book this venue if you’re not a member. I would highly recommend anybody who is looking for a beautiful setting, amazing service and food menu to seriously consider booking their wedding here. It was not any more expensive than other venues…Carrie Smith (event manager) was so involved every step of the way, and Martha (sommelier etc), as well as Lois and her team were absolutely fabulous. We were lucky enough to get Jessica on the bar… she was great, so personable and fun. Our many out of town guests were blown away at what was described as perfection… Everyone commented on the entire team and how fabulous they were, and the surroundings..very special right in the heart of the city. An added bonus… There is a wrap around balcony. Anyone that wanted to get away from the music and the dancing and just have a chat… The balcony wraps the entire outside of the room overlooking the golf course. Simply beautiful. Breathtaking actually… With beautiful wrought iron tables, so there is room for everyone inside and out when the festivities break out after dinner. And the photos…Bride and Groom are delighted!! Thank you to the Hunt Club for an evening we will never forget! And pictures that say 1000 words.
